I use a website called Drawception, and in the forums I run a collaborative imaginary universe called Otherworld. See the Otherworld thread Otherworld is a pretty strange place, as you'll see.
This comic's protagonist is Bobi Macaroni Palinski, a 26 year old resident of Plastic City in Otherworld.
We finally get to see what is in Bobi's letter in this panel, but it is not good news. Plum Pie Disease is spread by small insects which live in Ackrex Marsh. The insects bite people, and after several years, the disease causes the person to have an overwhelming desire to return to Ackrex Marsh. When they do, their body transforms into a plum pie. If the person is prevented from returning to the marsh, though, they will still transform after some period of time. After the transformation, insects will eat the plum pie and become carriers, completing the disease's life cycle. If a person or other animal eats directly from the pie, however, they will not be infected.
Also, doctors in Djornt are apparently very twisted, horrible people. They also don't know how to spell "accordance".
